Does anyone else just love saying good morning to their piggies?

I love pushing the door to the dining room open to see their fluffy, little faces squished up to the bars, all excited about breakfast.

When I say good morning it's usually the cue for Jemima to start making a racket at this point ... and their excited little bodies just make my day!

Mine do exactly that as well. Just been downstairs to switch on the washing machine and they were waiting for me. Flake wheeking running around excitedly and buttons pushed up to the bars eyes following me round the room. They are in a routine, weekdays i feed them then have my breakfast whilst watching them and buttons eats watching me. Weekends i have to do the same, if i get up late and feed them before i shower, and come down and have my breakfast they go crazy, i am eating and they know they should be given food, that day they had two breakfasts. Now we all eat together. They have trained me well! :)

Yeah I have 5 piggies in my room, one of them shouts in the morning, so I can't get away with not saying morning lol and we have two in the living room who I say morning to and I have a natter to my dog, I'm sure people would think I was bonkers if my windows were open :)

Haha @dotty44 they do train us don't they!

I am always talking to them, in the morning if i come downstairs then leave the room before breakfast buttons spueaks as if she is saying 'come back you havent fed us yet' (this morning) and i am shouting through the door 'i am coming back in a minute'. I think my neighbour hears me and probably thinks i am potty. Buttons loves me talking to her and getting strokes through the cage bars when i am busy.

That's so sweet x

I do find myself saying Goodnight to our piggies every evening! They live outside - i just hope our neighbours never hear me!

I know what you mean. I'm always talking to the piggies whether they are indoors or out and often wonder if the neighbours think I've lost it. Altho the chap on one side is always talking to his cat in the garden so...

Of course! It's only polite to greet them haha!

I'll be like "good morning my lovelies" opening the cage as I reach down and scratch their heads, which they are fine with for a few seconds, but I can see in their eyes what they are really thinking is "WHERE'S THE FRELLING FOOD?!"

One of my favourite times of day is coming downstairs in the morning to see my piggies! 'Morning babies!'
Faces squished up against the bars, wheeping at me at the top of their little lungs! :luv:
Give them a little head or chin scratchy and get a few little piggie kisses:luv:
Then comes brekkie!
No lie in for us though! Even if we are 15mins late they will be wheeping and making as much noise as possible to get us up! Trashing the cage chewing the bars, knocking the water bottle up and down! 'Where's our breakfast! Where's my breakfast!'
Spoilt piggies!
But I wouldn't have it any other way! :luv:
