Good Nail Clipping Videos?

Anyone got any good nail clipping videos specifically for people trying to do it alone?

Really struggling :-(
 
Sorry this hasn't been answered . I struggle with cutting my sows nails as they are dark and I can't see the quick. I'm OK with my boar as his nails are pale.

So, I second your request .

I found something online which suggested wrapping the piggy securely in a blanket.

I did this then sat on the floor and secured Casran between my thighs. When I held one of his front paws he remained quite still long enough for me to do the trimming on an entire foot! X
 
If you give them some veg, I know it's very anxious and worrying as its like a egg timer as they eat it away, I usually just hold their paws up whilst they're sitting in a normal all fours position. We used the proper nail trimmers before, I had troubles with cutting but now we bought some toenail scissors from boots so I use those on the front paws and proper trimmers for the back. I found this video useful

 
My boys really panick when it comes to nail trimming. I always have to have help because I just can't hold them and do their nails at the same time. Any tips to make it easier are always welcomed. So I third your request (if that's even an expression). :))
 
I always find it difficult as I always think I'll cut a vein, no matter how long the claws are, there always seems to be vein :D I think its just paranoia, we don't want to hurt our babies :luv:

I go to a local rescue to get my sows nails cut - are you close to any rescues ?

That might be a good idea actually, I'll look into it, my local resuce is a half an hour car journey, the issue with going to the vets etc is that some taxis don't allow animals, but I'll definitely do some research, thank you!

Stupid idea. But if you have them on your lap do you think it'll help them if you masage their foot as you clip their nail?
