Good night my Ruby

This time last week my Ruby lost her fight with heart disease. She was a very special guinea pig close to my heart. She helped me when I was lonely and cheered me up with her silliness. I will miss her loud wheeks, soft silky coat and her gorgeous face. She was always getting up to mischief and even climbed into her neighbours cage!
Even my mum who didn’t like guinea pigs fell in love with her and syringe fed her when she needed it, she said Ruby was the most energetic and mischievous guinea pig even though she was the smallest and oldest!

Thank you ruby for being my special guinea pig, my life was brighter because you were in it and I will always love you.

Rest well my Ruby, give my love to Oreo and Cleo, I will see you again.
