Hello
Wondering if anyone has any advice for us on how to get piggies to pose for their potrait! On the forum peple have some fantastic photos of thier piggies looking directly at the camera - How?
Ours will just not both sit together looking at the camera. They just get bored and wander off!
Any ideas?

My camera is not a posh flashy one, just a Kodak shareware but I have taken some really good pics.
I make sure the light is good. For every picture I keep/post, I have probably taken about 6. I let them get their bearings for a while, as they always seem to want to explore. Usually get down to their level so pretty much face on or a bit sideways. I use the close up setting. A fave pose for two pigs is one bum one, face! Just keep turning them round and a little bit of patience usually pays off.
Some on here who keep herds have done lovely line ups of about 9 - 10 pigs. I keep all my pigs in pairs, so never attempted that one. Good luck. xx

1 bum 1 face! yeah have lots of them.

I also prepare myself before getting the pigs out, I usually take photos where their is natural light so next to a window (not in front of a window otherwise you get a glare) and i put down a towel, a hidey and some of my boys favourite treats. I then set my camera up, and fetch the boys, the boys usually settle once they've had a sniff and i don't leave them too long in the 'studio' set up try and have a break every ten mins :) good luck!

I rub the chins gently to get them to look at me and let them have a wander around as well before taking their photos.

I have been trying to get good piggy pics this morning as it was big clean day! Patch just will not keep still grrrr but Scruff is a natural poser lol!

Will post some of my faves up on the threads!
