Good evening all!
I am going on holiday in June for a week and think the best option is to put my piggies in boarding/pig hotel while we are away. I live in West Berkshire but am prepared to travel for a good place.
Has anyone got any recommendations for piggy boarding? I obviously only want them to stay at a reputable and professional place.
Thanks lovelies xx

As someone who does piggy boarding best thing is to make a short list of local places and visit them, if they don't want you visiting before hand be wary as what they go to hide. Any one is welcome to visit me before leaving their pets. Sure someone will have someone local to recommend :)

I agree completely with degu-rock! Try www.findpetboarding.com for some places local to you. Good luck and hope you have a lovely holiday ....erm, why has my text gone green?

Hi. I'm not far from you. Depending on how many you have I can look after them if you would be willing to return the favour sometime. I'm near Abingdon. Message me if you are interested

I understand your dilemma. I didn't know where to turn until I got a recommendation from another guinea pig owner. Fortunatley, they were able to recommend a small pet boarding buisiness very local to me . They encouraged me to visit before my first booking - which I did of course.

I used small pet boarding NI to look after my pigs a few weeks ago. They were amazing and told me just to drop in anytime beforehand. See if they let you drop in without telling them your coming, best way to find out what the care is like when they're not expecting anyone.

Otherwise I'm going to check out a place in the next couple of weeks near me. If it looks any good ill let you know

Hi, google small animal boarding, click on Worcestershire and I am on there Hoppy Holidays. Loads of info on my ad, which hopefully will be of use to you and perhaps even your piggies.x

12 years of running my boarding business.........so plenty of experience.

I have pm'd you Gem. And as others are saying........if in doubt, check it out. Anyone interested in perhaps boarding their little ones with me are more than welcome to come and meet me and see the facilities that I offer.

Brand new extension has been built above our garage so it is flexible accommodation purely for the boarding of furry friends........bunnies and piggies. No cats, dogs or children live here, just a lady who is passionate about her job.......that's me.

Alice Chamberlain who runs Windwhistle Warren rabbit and guinea pig rescue in Gloucestershire, and Tracy Wadsworth who used to run Rabbit and Guinea Pig Welfare in Rugby have both known me for years and I feel sure that if you needed to check my credentials, they would be happy to oblige.

I also fundraise for Windwhistle, offer a dog walking service and do home visits locally for those people with multi pet households. Starting a job for a week tomorrow....14 bunnies, 6 hens, 1 cat and numerous fish.

Before I forget, I am experienced in administering any medication required and dealing with any little ones with disabilities, special needs etc .

I also am qualified to practice Reiki.......which I do for humans.....and of course.....animals.

That's as much info that I can think about for now....if you need more just let me know.

Di.
