Hi! I have two boars (Patches and Carmal). They recently went to the vet where they got prescribed some medicine for their soft stool. The medicine is to be administered twice daily for ten days. They do not like it but will behave long enough for me to syringe feed it to them. I did the first dose this morning and will do the next dose this evening. The vet said we could start feeding them veggies right away. This morning I fed them some parsley and red bell peppers (It was the only veggies I had in my fridge!). They were not keen on either. Can anyone tell me some good veggies to start them off with? I want to make sure it won’t cause any digestive problems. I will be splitting there daily veggies into 3 meals. If you could please list the veggie and how often to feed it that would be great!

Thank you in advance!

I would say wait for their stools to be back to normal before you put them back on veg.

Otherwise you can try green and yellow pepper, celery, green beans, lettuce (except iceberg), coriander and cucumber. That’s what I feed mine daily b

My boy Finn and Lara get three meals a day and romaine lettuce is included in their daily meal for breakfast and dinner.
Along with romaine lettuce, they get herbs like basil, parsley, cilantro, dandelion, and mint in rotation.
For lunch, they get Oxbow pellets along with one veggie like celery or carrot.
Mine get endless supply of Oxbow hay and plenty of water.

Their occasional treats are fruits and they love apple, blueberry, and grape. I don't give these often becuase of huge sugar content.
