1. I now know there's a GP rescue nearer to me than I thought!
2. I've learnt loads about pigs - and mine have had really interesting food lately because I'm trying them on all the things people have mentioned on here - grapes, melon etc. - no just carrots and greens!
3. I realised that I spent a lot of time feeding and cleaning the pigs and no actual time just being with them and watching them recently. Since then have had much more time (aided by being off work sick all of last week!) just observing them.
4. Met you lot! What a nice bunch

I think it's brilliant that we have all learnt so much from one another PLUS nobody thinks you're a nutter on here either for " lovin da pigs " ;D ;D
 
Yes, absolutely - my friends and family were starting to get a bit worried about me! But now I confine it to here, that's ok!

Also nice to know other people have got more pigs than I have! I'm relatively sane :)
 
things i have learnt are very similar to you Sophie :) i also learnt about pp an gg, and since ive joined and realised how many piggies there are in rescues i decided to adopt Cookie :smitten: i probably would never have got her without this forum :smitten: :smitten:
 
Oh yes I forgot GG! Chrissie was so sweet when I messed up my order, and even put in a trial bottle of Posh n' Go when I told her about the Texels - aren't people nice here!

Good things that have happened since coming on here from me is that
1 - I stopped breeding
2 - I know quite a few rescues where i live now and didnt used to
3 - I have rescued from here
4 - I am even more addicted to cavies than before ::) I think that is bad though ;D
 
1. I chose to adopt Mildred from local R.S.P.C.A,
2. I have learnt so much about piggies I never knew,
3. My house work is never done! Piggies come first,
4. My poor husband comes home from work and says what have you been doing today? Erm....... Cleaned the piggies out, cuddled them, looked on the piggy forum,
time flys when you are having fun :D
5. I do sometimes run a bit late for the school run - I get a bit side tracked ;D
 
1) I have met some really lovelyy people, people who have become close friends
2) I have been able to help rehome several piggies Jimmy and Jack and Romey
3) I am mummy now to Sparky and Prince Harry
4) I was also able to spend three wonderful week with Sweep (RIP :'()
5) I have been able to help rescues, I never even knew they exsisted before the I joined the forum
6) I have found that there are some great places to get things for your piggies fromother than pets at home
7) When I was poorly a few weeks ago I got loads of support

Thanks guys
 
1. I've learnt about all the animals in rescues, I didn't realise there were so many :(
2. I've been put off from ever even thinking about breeding!
3. Learnt so much about their health and treatments, I even advise my own vet sometimes ;D
4. I give my pigs so much more variety with fruit & veg than I ever used to!
 
this forum has helped me so much
i have even found some new friends
i really like the forum and looking at the tiny pictures of bubs.
This forum actully makes me look forward 2 summin

I have met some super friends - human and guineas

I have learnt lots from people who know a lot more than I do about guineas

It's helped me with my writing - as I hope I will be able to show you all soon ;D
