Hi, sorry, I know that there is already a sticky on Recommended Vets, but I wasn't able to find one for East London.
I got my piggy at the Chingford Pets at Home, and they have vets there

... but last time my piggy had a fungal infection and the stupid woman stood there and said she didn't know what was wrong, prescribed me some lice medication (which obviously didn't work) and charged me £30. So following some online advice I bought some canesten and that cleared up Anua's problem.

And now Anua's making hooting noises, and lots of websites are saying it's a heart problem and I'm scared and I want a GOOD vet.

Actually, she just kinda sneezed right now and the noise has stopped... but I still want a better vet.

Can anyone help me?

I used these vets when I lived in Leyton, and found them excellent. It's been a while since I moved away, so don't know many of the vets there now, however, both Mr. Stenson and Mr. Wildgoose were at the practice when I belonged, and they are both very good. Hope this helps.

x.

She mentioned Chingford which is east London, and not very far from the vet I suggested - of course she may live further away.

I can also highly recommend these vets! Was just about to post this site. I've never had to use them for guinea pigs, but they are supposed to specialise in exotics-including piggies. The nurses are wonderful, too-caring, professional, and very happy to help. I'm lucky to be near such a good vets :-)

Sorry for a late reply, but thanks for the information. I'll take a look see at how far these vets are, but since they are so highly recommended, I will visit them instead of P@H. I'm just south of Chingforf and 20mins north of Walthamstow.

Good luck with little Anua xoxoxoxoxoxo
She may have URI ? they can sneeze with that too....... best to go to the vets the girls have recommended :)
