Hi, anyone recommend a good piggie vet in the Preston,Blackpool,Blackburn,Lancaster area...........thanks in anticipation.

There is one in chorley that I have been told about, if you want the details let me know and I will look for them

Davies and Johnson in Woodplumpton look after all my piggies (32)and have done lots of neutering abcesses teeth etc.. PM me if you want their phone number. Woodplumpton is on the outskirts of Preston, between Preston and Garstang.

I'm sure it was 31 last week! lol

Ha ha you are a better counter than I am.! We sadly lost Gemma on Tuesday, the old lady I was worried about.Vet advised PTS because she had a tumour in her tummy and wouldnt stand an op at her age. Tears all round but I think she had a good life and a long one.

aww, so sorry Christine, rip Gemma. Dont forget to let me know when you need me, and if i can i will have a bale of fitch when you next order, the hams and pigs love it xx

Hi, we took a piggie there last year and was bit iffy....but maybe we got him on off day.are they very good with you and what conditions did they go with....is there a particular vet to go ask for..as much info as possible.have piggie holding it leg up a little, but other than that eating, sqeeking etc.thanks x

They have always been good with me I have been going there for 30 years. It is difficult to ask for a particular vet but going in the evening seems to work out better.Cant help about the leg but maybe an xray would be advised. SuzyGPR may have better advice.
