i cannot beleive your gone :(

its all my fault. i let the heater on overnight and in the morning he was overheated. We rushed him to the vets but we just had call to say hes passed.

I cannot beleive ill never see you wheek or popcorn again

I'm so sorry, sleep tight little Gary. Did he live with another pig? if so are they ok? Just makes me think that if one was affected and the other wasn't that there may have been some underlying health issue that you would not have known about.

I'm really not sure , garry is still at the vets ready for pick up and burial tommorow

i have no idea whether he had a problem i guess ill never know :( Larry is fine just seems to look for garry a bit 8...

goodbye garry 8...
 
I have a couple of pigs with heart arythmias and hot weather tends to affect their breathing and my late Nigel who was a heart pig was always affected by heat. Could explain why Larry was ok and Garry wasn't.

These things are often undetected as there is no reason to suspect anything is wrong.

So sorry to hear this sweetheart, you must know that your piggie will not blame you at all. Gary was very well loved right until the end and beyond. He is popcorning free over the Rainbow Bridge. The best thing you can do right now is show Larry lots of love and attention.
Please do not be cross at yourself. You loved him very much and sometimes it just happens :( Hugs for you and lovely wheeks for Larry x

on no poor you, pleae dont be to hard on yourself, we as human tend to put o much blame on ourselves, we all have hetic live and cant always remember everything, like its been said he ay have had something underlying that could have been triggard at anytime

I'm so sorry to hear about Garry,
Please don't beat yourself up about it though, sometimes these awful things happen and as heartbreaking as it is in time you will feel less guilt.

Years ago when we had a very unusual few hot days my poor Mopsey died from heat stroke because I didn't realise the sun was so strong it had been beating down onto her hutch and when I went to her she was dead-eyes wide open and tongue hanging out. I tried to revive her with cold flannels but it was too late. The pain I felt was unbearable and even though I still blame myself the pain of that guilt is less now. Crap just happens sometimes.

aww so sorry you lost gary, don't beat yourself up tho, take it day by day and in time it will hurt less.
