Just short of 2 weeks ago (13 days) Genghis became very poorly. He was impacted and looked very sad. An MOT and x-ray at the vets showed nothing to cause concern. He was given fluids and antibiotics.
Genghis improved and was back to his normal cheeky self. He even had supervised floor time with Thumbelina (not that he was interested in what mischief she was up too!)
Today when I came home at 8am mum said Genghis did not want breakfast. When i checked on him he was so quiet and did not look happy. I rang the vet to say I was on my way but he went before I put him in the carrier.
RIP Genghis. Thank you for hanging on until I got home. Miss you buddy xx
