New Born Pup
Just here to post in honor of my guinea pig Gilbert. He was the sweetest guinea pig ever, and he had gotten me through so many tough times in my life. I got him when I was just starting college, and now, as I'm finishing my degree and about to start a new job waiting for me, I've lost Gilbert just when I'm starting this new chapter of my life.
I'll never forget how much he loved strawberries and cucumbers. He followed me around my house and I'd let him into my lawn to eat grass all of the time, where he'd follow me and we'd play. When I'd come home after long days at school/work he'd leap out of his cage to come and greet me, and then follow me to the kitchen where I could give him some tasty snacks.
He was my best friend, and I miss him dearly, but as 09/05 our time together has run out. Thank you for everything, Gilbert (2017-2022).
