We’ve had a lovely afternoon out with the grandkids only come back and find my gorgeous Ginger in her forever sleep. I don’t know what has happened, she was laid out in the hay in her forever sleep. I’m so shocked and I’m wondering what on earth has happened to her, she was fine at lunchtime and I had just made their tea when we got back 🥺 I don’t know if I have missed something or not? Posh seems ok and has had her tea

Aw no 😞 I’m so sorry you have lost Ginger 😞 Chances are there was nothing wrong and it was just her time to toddle off to the rainbow bridge (((hugs))) Sleep tight Ginger xx

I am so very sorry. A sudden, unexpected death always leaves you with so many questions but a hert attack or a stroke can happen any time out of the blue and kill in seconds - sometimes even with a piggy still having hay in their mouth. Sometimes they in the sleep...

Please try to take comfort that Ginger can't have suffered more than seconds and that the pain is all on you and on her - just as you would a have chosen, had you had a choice. But I am very sorry that it happened with your grandchildren around.

Please be kind with yourself and give yourself time to work through both the shock and your unexpected loss. It is always harder when you cannot brace for it.

Posh has obviously said her goodbyes and was there when it happened. I am glad that she is hanging in there so you have a bit of time to get your own bearings first.

Oh Jane, my heart sank when I read Ginger’s name here.
I am so very sorry that you lost Ginger.
It was an awful shock for you both but a lovely way for Ginger, at home with her family and without suffering.
Be gentle with yourselves as you grieve.

Aw I'm so sorry, its never easy and I'm always torn on what's worse.. the long goodbye or the sudden out of the blue where you feel lost on what you could've done.
Such an awful shock after what I'm sure was a lovely day 😔

Oh Jane I'm so sorry Ginger heard the call of the Rainbow Bridge. When their name is called, they just have to go. She knew she was loved and will take all that with her. Sleep tight Ginger.

Ohhhh, what a shock for you. I'm so sorry you didn't get to say goodbye. But such a dignified and peaceful way for a lady to leave. Travel well sweet girl 🧡
 
I am so sorry you had to face this but take comfort that you found her at peace, snuggled in her hay. She knew she was loved but answered the call of the rainbow bridge. She was a gorgeous piggy and will leave a big space in your life. Sending hugs at this sad time.
