Goodbye to our lovely little Lily.

Hubby took food out this morning to find she had passed on in her sleep at 4 years old.

So sad and dreading telling kids as this is the first pet we have lost :-(

So very sorry for your loss of Lily- it's horrible loosing a beloved pet. It will be hard telling your children but sadly it's something they must experience. Hopefully they understand and mourn knowing she was loved.

Thank you She was such a giant fluffball! Has sunkIn now and we’ve all had a good cry. Am quite shocked at how sad I feel.
My daughter (Aged 9) has sobbed her heart out but understands we need to focus on our remaining piggie now.
My son (Aged 13) has barely acknowledged it (much to the annoyance of my daughter ) but I have explained that we all cope in our own ways.

She was just the calmer of the 2 and the louder squeaker! Loki has gone quiet and barely left her little box so will keep a close eye on her.
