Goodbye little Grover. So sorry you had to leave us - especially when we were away which was pretty heartbreaking but it was your time. No more pain from your arthritic back legs. Hope you are in a beautiful sunny meadow, munching away. And I really hope there is a Metacam bar at the bottom of the meadow which you can wonder to for a pint of the good stuff at the end of the day - you loved the metacam.
Your big mate Pringle is missing you - he is quite grumpy with the rest of us but we will look after him. I will miss your front paws on my hand as I carried you around as you liked to look out where you were going. Sleep well, little man. x

Thanks for the kind words.
He had not actually been that long with us - we had only adopted him this spring and so I feel rather cheated out of time with him although we knew he was slightly fragile when we took him on. I felt that we had just got control of his arthritis through metacam and supplements - when we first got him he would stay in one place in his run as walking was painful but last week he could walk all the way around our large run which is 6ft by 8ft! The picture of him grazing is just a few days before he died. I feel there must have been a hidden problem going on such as heart issue.
I am missing him as he was the first to greet me as I walked in the piggie room and such a gentle little chap. However, Pringle took over greeting me first this morning so as ever, piggie life goes on.

Oh no I am so saddened to hear this :(He had the most wonderful time with you. Massive hugs to you during this sad time x

RIP Grover
