Sadly, earlier today, my beloved piggie Noggin passed away. Noggin was 6 years old and could be described as a large pig with an even larger personality. I adopted Noggin from Honeybunnies 18 months ago after falling in love with him here on the forum. This is the thread for anyone who is interested http://theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=26631&highlight=noggin
Noggin was a single boy who lived alongside my other single boy Brillo. He loved people and would sit happily licking my hands. His cage front was kept open and he would come and go at will - usually heading in the direction of the fridge!
It was only in the last few weeks that his age began to show, and when last night he refused his favourite parsley I knew that he was almost ready to cross the bridge.
I said goodbye to him before work this morning and when I got home he had died. I'm so sad, but feel privileged to have known this gentle, friendly piggie.
RIP Noggin x
