JoBo
Adult Guinea Pig
I am sure a few of you remember a week or so ago i told you that Nina one of my outdoor herd had been brought indoors and was on palliative care as it appeared she had a tumour;
When i initially had her weighed at the first vet appointment she was only 850grams.
)
i have since come away to France to visit a friend for a few days and left Nina in my husbands capable hands. Nina deterioated on Tuesday and paul took her back to vets and her weight had dropped to 500g!.
The vet was happy for paul to take Nina home and yesterday morning Paul called me to say that Nina was very poorly and slipping away; He text me at 12.30pm yesterday to say that Nina had died and that he could not phone me to tell me because he found it too upsetting to talk to me.
Nina was a beautiful girl and was a big and friendly character within the herd and a favourite of the families; We had her for about 3 years but we do not know her true age as she was a rescue from the RSPCA;
We will all miss you Nina and you can never be replaced;
