Junior Guinea Pig
following on from Norman being put to sleep yesterday I want to post something for my special boy.
I rescued Norman two years ago following an ad on gumtree. He was 8 years old, blind, head tilt, and brain damaged. She was a backstreet breeder who was going home Poland and was "gonna leave him behind in the house". Yes, she bred from him.
When he came to me he was severely underweight, biddies, ear infection and needed a good wash. From the off he was giving me kisses and talking. After we bathed him, de biddied and gave him a good feed he fell fast asleep in my arms like a baby. Right in the feels.
Norman, I'll miss you using your wheeks wrong, climbing up in your bars shouting at me with that unique wingey wheek demanding attention, your little wonky head, watching you during free range annoying Roger, tapping on your cage to announce myself and seeing your little face look up with a big smile...
Norman, you have a special place in my feels, see you later sausage.
