Goodbye Petal

Found Petal in her bed this evening, thought she was sleeping(5 years have gone so fast). Squeak was was just sitting looking at her, but at a distance. Do you think squeak will be ok on her own?

So sorry for your loss 8... She went peacefully though. I think it's best to get Squeak a friend. When both my older girls passed away in the same night, my other guinea pig was left alone and was very lonely. I could tell as she wasn't herself. I then got her a friend and she is very happy. x)

I don't really want to get another one. She is has a rabbit living next to her(not in the same cage) so hoping thats enough.

I know it is hard to open your heart again, Patch was devastated after Alphonse died, he pined horribly. I got him some pups for company and he is so happy and looking proud as he plays with them and licks them.

I am so very sorry for your loss and I know Petal will be popcorning happily across the bridge xx

I personally would get a friend. Pigs can get depression if lonely. It's so sad.
