Teenage Guinea Pig
My beautiful girl pumpkin has just passed on after becoming ill this evening. I was getting up to feed her every few minutes and on one of my trips she started almost fitting then lay still giving out short gasps of breath. I held her in my arms as she slipped away.
She was a wonderful piggy, with so much character and so much life. She would play in the most human like way, she used to sneak up on sookie and sherbbie, nip them gently then jump around and pretend it wasnt her that nipped them x)
She had a reputation for being a bossy, butch piggy who rumblestrutted round like she owned the place and told anyone off who dared oppose her (including me and our dog who sat there quietly while pumpkin nibbled her foot) She was a greedy guzzler and used to go into "feeding frenzies" when she was given her veg.
She was a firm but caring adoptive mother of Sookie and Sherbert and she was my baby. Words cannot describe how much i love her, i feel completely lost now that shes gone. I just cant imagine life without her. There will never, ever, ever in a million years be another guinea pig quite like my pumplekins. Five years with her was nowhere near enough time.
Rest in peace my beautiful girl. You will be forever missed by everyone who knew you.

We had so many good times together, five years of happy memories. It breaks my heart that you're gone. I'd give anything to have you back. Hope where ever you are, you're happy. Goodbye my darling Pumpkin x
