Smudge was my first ever guinea pig, and what a character he was. He'd squeal if I didn't get the food in his bowl fast enough for his taste. He'd squeal if i didn't give him his treat fast enough. He'd squeal if I wasn't holding him enough. He'd squeal when I walked in the room. He was a great piggy. He was my pride and joy x).

About a month ago I woke up and heard him wheezing. I knew that I should have taken him to the vet. But I was late to school and right after school I had to work and the day before he was perfectly fine. Or so he appeared to be.

By the time I got home from work Smudge had passed on. </3
I was so heart broken. grrrr I wished that I had called into school and work and brought him to the vet.

R.I.P Mudgie I miss youu<3.
 
I am very sorry; guinea pigs are very good at hiding illness and can go downhill very quickly.

RIP Smudge - you were much loved!
