From the first time you were placed trembling in my hand as a baby, I knew you were the one for me. You had so much personality. You'd always be standing on top of your pigloo looking to see if I was getting treats or trying to guilt me into giving some veggies to you. You were so smart too and people would always comment about how polite and well behaved you were.
You suffered with health problems your whole life. When I got you your eye was swollen shut but I got medicine for it and I was so happy when I saw it open for the first time. You had UTIs and other little problems here and there, but no issue was too big for us. But you couldn't fight off your last sickness and I'm so so sad we only had two short years to be together. I love you so much.

I'd get the veggies ready and he'd line up at the cage bars like he always did and I'd put them in and he'd run over to them, but then he'd walk away looking sad since he couldn't eat them because he was sick. Thinking about that makes me really sad. He loved to eat so much so it seems like such a miserable way for him to go. Thankfully he did have one good day on Thursday where he was feeling a little better and got all of his favorite treats.
