I loved You so much perhaps my favorite of the 3 piggies I had. I wish you didn’t have to suffer like this before you have died. You deserved a easy peaceful death. I hope you are eating all the carrots you want in the world. I hope you meet peanut and go at your mischievous antics with him! I hope I meet you, peanut, and chestnut all in heaven.
With that being said I am signing off the forums. I love all of yours support and help through the tough times. I could have never found a better resource. I hope one day I will get guinea pigs but for now I am signing off. (Yes we have a single piggy, we are planning to give him to a caring wonderful family)

Oh I am sooooo sorry for your loss. It's heartbreaking when you lose a piggy. Please don't be a stranger. You are still welcome here!

I’m so sad to hear about Walnut - I’m sure you have lots of happy memories of your piggles. Its heartbreaking and it’s very hard. Enjoy those lovely memories of your guinea pigs and remember they had a wonderful life with you.

I have recently been through piggie grief myself and I wish to give advice: try to remember, this is more common than you think. My Popi was only 3. You will blame yourself but accept it later on. The house will be quiet but remember the good times. Maybe our piggies will cross paths past the rainbow road. 🌈❤
 
Thank you for the kind words x My head really hurts because of how sad i am and I don’t think I have processed this yet but when I do I will cry a storm hugs to all of you. I don’t think I’m gonna have guinea pigs anymore because they are tough to treat when sick and I don’t want to cry anymore on the first big illness they had. We might finally get a cat who knows. Cherish your piggies in every moment x

Reminds me of when I lost Popi in April. The pain gets better, and even though I still cry about it to this day, it comforts me thinking about her crazy adventures and cheeky character. Just remember that you did everything you could, and it won't hurt this way forever. Yes, you'll miss him but he is not gone as long as you'll remember him. It helps for me to talk about Popi when I start feeling depressed about the situation. If you'd like, you can tell us about him, what was he like? His favorite activity? His stories? I want to help you get through this as I have been here before all too recently. I'm sure you provided the best life for him you could.
 
We found a loving home for chestnut and I am glad :) Whew he didn’t have to go to a shelter
