as many of you will know my rescue pig, blossom, had 5 babies back on 15/03. the 2 little boars, chas and dave, went to live at my uncle and aunties house. i had a most unexpected phone call this morning saying that chas had been found dead in his hutch! i am gobsmacked at this news. he was running around as normal last night, eating, drinking and talking to them as he always has done. he would have been just 12 weeks old this thursday coming. i cannot understand why this has happened.
after losing max 3 weeks ago, my uncle and aunty lost one of their rabbits 2 weeks ago and now this. i pray that this will be the last for a long time.
RIP chas - you were loved so much in your very short life and will be dearly missed by all of us

Aww poor little fella, why is life so cruel, that is no age to cross the bridge.
RIP little Chas, sorry that you left so soon. :rose
 
So sorry for your and your Aunties and Uncle's loss. He was a gorgeous little guy. *hugs*

What sad news. Chas will be taken care of at the bridge by all the mummy piggies there. Sleep tight little angel...
 
thankyou for all your kind words. chas has now been buried next to my lovely rabbit, max. i only lost him 3 weeks ago - life is so cruel at times. chas was nothing more than a baby. it has come as such a shock. we are keeping very close eyes on the others as we have no idea why this happened. i'm praying that i do not have to start another thread on rainbow bridge for a very long time to come:(
 
That's so sad for you. I can't even bear to think about losing any of my pets, so for you to have lost two must be terrible :0.

Poor Chas - and how terrible for you and your family! 8...

I hope that your uncle and aunt can find a good friend for his little brother soon; ideally where they can date him for a stable relationship. Please ask them to get a cuddly toy for the other baby to snuggle up to until then.
