Junior Guinea Pig
This morning we said goodbye to Athena, only ever called Athy. She suddenly became very swollen overnight and when we took her to the vet she was diagnosed with heart failure and we felt it was best to say goodbye.
We got her in 2015 as a wife for Six who left us last year, and has since been living with Saul. She came to us in a on awful way but was so affectionate and loved a cuddle and being picked up but hated to be stroked!
Saul said goodbye in the cutest way, he kissed her eye, rested his head on her tummy for a few minutes and then moved away. He is very forlorn, just like us.
Athy we love you so much, we will miss your bossy ways and hilarious wheek. Goodnight little one xxxxx
