Senior Guinea Pig
My poor little, sweet Bumble (aka tufty butt).
There are two things you wanted in life; to cuddle up to somepig and to not be bottom of the hierarchy.
You came to me 4 and a half years ago with Bea but she wasn't a fan of your affection and so Peter came along. Poor little you got pushed out as Peter and Bea fell in love and so along came Jemima. You never did get a cuddle buddy with her and were soon bottom of the hierarchy once again.
Then there was a brief stint with husboar Buddy who doted on you and left veggies by the hidey so no humans would have to witness you eating but he soon left us.
When we lost Bea this year, we took in Isobel who you absolutely loved. Finally a pig that would allow you to snuggle up to her and boss her around - for a while anyway... she soon had you back in your place but with a friend to cuddle up to you didn't seem to mind.
I still feel you were taken too soon, the mix of health problems weren't compatible with the medication to keep you comfortable but I am so grateful I got the chance to know you and spend those years together.
Gone but forever in my heart.
