On 11th March I lost my adorable little boy Chester just a few weeks before his 3rd birthday (he's the black and white piggie in the photo below with his friend Lloyd). Along with Peanut who died 16 months previously, he was one of the first piggies I owned. Being my first piggie we developed a really special bond and I used to tell him everything. He developed his own unique way of communicating by nibbling my nose in different ways and he also loved climbing. He was a really snuggly piggie who loved cuddles and snuggling with me under a fleece blanket. We had so many amazing times together and he's left me with fantastic memories. I still talk to him every night. Goodnight Chester - I love you more than you will ever know and you'll stay in my heart forever. I hope you and Peanut are happy to be reunited and are having fun popcorning over the rainbow bridge. x

So sorry for your loss he was a beautiful piggy. I lost my first piggy Vinny 2 years ago and I still miss her. They always leave a hole in your heart but as you rightly put he's up there reunited with his old friend.

Thanks everyone for your lovely replies. It really helps to know that others have gone through the same feelings. He really was a special little piggie who's made a mark on my heart that will last forever.
