I've very sad to say I lost my gorgeous George yesterday morning.
He'd stopped eating so went for a dental last Monday and Friday and still hadn't eaten so he went in for a GA for further investigation yesterday morning. The vet called me while he was under to say that she had found a lump, tested it and it came back as Lymphoma. We decided to let him carry on sleeping.

George chose me, he was the reason I went to the Wheek and Squeak to get one friend for Spike and adopted 4! Him and his brother rushed out wheeking their heads off at me and I fell in love.
Sadly George and his brother Gerry didn't stay in love and were both prescribed girlfriends after Gerry bit George and an abscess swelled up to the size of a golf ball over night.
During the few months they lived separately George really blossomed. He became very confident, very loud, my alarm clock in the morning and always looked like he was smiling. He was such a happy chap.
When he met his girlfriend Poppy he didn't know what to do. They both sat next to each other as calm as anything and he remained a true gent, never mounting her.

George was a great cuddler and face licker! He was especially great at moping up tears.
He's going to leave such a big hole. He would have been 5 at the end of August.

Here's my smiler

What a stunning piggy, I'm so sorry you've lost him Kate.

RIP sweet George, and hugs to you.

I'm really sorry to hear that you've lost such a lovely piggy. My thoughts are with you. R.I.P. George.

Oh I am so sorry you lost your beautiful boy. He was a truly special piggy.

Oh Katie I am so sorry you lost your beautiful smiler. x

George! what a beautiful gentleman! I'm so sorry you've had to lose such an absolute angel! I know sometimes it feels like they were a one in a million piggy, and that no other pig could live up to their personality.. and though it's true in many ways I am certain that you are the kind of person who could bring out best in any future pigs lucky enough to chose you!

We've had such a sad spate of loss on the forum this summer, though I'm sure they will all be at the rainbow bridge together! My Leeland was looking for another boyrfriend.. maybe George will be her fancy man? She would have been 5 at xmas and passed away only the other week so she can show him the best green spaghetti! xx

What a beautiful tribute to a very special gent! He will be met at the bridge by all the other passed piggies and they can graze free in the lush meadows.......So sorry...x

I'm sorry to hear you lost Leeland. I'm sure they'll be having a great time together at the Bridge.
No more piggies for me at the moment. George's wife Poppy has moved in with Ash, Amelia and Penny (her sister) today. They've been bonding in the garden all day and I now have 4 very sleepy piggies.

:( I'm sorry to hear you've lost your gorgeous George, he had such a beautiful face. Sleep tight little guy x
