Junior Guinea Pig
A few days after we lost Penny, we shockingly lost lovely Logan too after a very short illness. He stopped eating and we tried everything to save him. I syringe fed him and kept his weight up, even taking him into work with me. Over a week, he had three vet visits with two different vets, but they couldn't tell what was wrong. Then on the Monday before Christmas, having lost Penny just two days before, I went in to check on him and he wasn't sleeping in his sock. I found him in a cosy with his girls, Xena and Sephy, like he'd made a special effort to go to them to say goodbye.
Logan was my special boy, he was so placid and gentle, he loved strokes and never showed any aggression or annoyance to his sister-wives, unlike they show to each other! I loved him so much and always thought of him as 'mine' rather than 'ours'. He was just so special and had so many quirks. It still doesn't seem real that he's gone, he was still so young and was so full of life.
Goodnight Logan, I will always treasure our time together xx
