Teenage Guinea Pig
Georgi was diagnosed with incurable Lymphoma on 8th December 2015. I didn't think she'd get to see that Xmas, let alone another one AND her 16th and 17th birthdays. She's been a little fighter I'll tell you. Just when you think it's time....she has other ideas. She's very special to me, especially since being poorly - as suddenly even though I have to medicate her, we are best friends and she follows me everywhere. Her favourite place is snuggled in with her mum in her hoodie, purring her head off.
Unfortunately this last few days, the big C has taken hold and made you very tired and weary. I knew on Tuesday that it was nearly time.....you let me know in your own way. We've had a lovely couple of extra days - totally full of love and lots of snuggles. It's the snuggles I will miss the most by far.
Tonight I said a massive goodbye to my special little girl. I was with her till the end and she just fell asleep with her head on my chest. Just perfect. I asked for a sign that she was ok and less than an hour later, I got a sign from the bridge telling me just that. That her passing was smooth and perfect.
Sweet dreams my precious little Georgi. Mummy loves you so much and will miss you always xxxxx
