Goodnight Oreo, sleep tight

Last Saturday (24th September) we made the tough decision to put Oreo to sleep to stop him from suffering from his untreatable bladder stone. You and Milo were my first pets and never failed to make me smile. I'm so thankful to have been able to spend 5-6 years of your life with you. I'll never forget the first day I got you on the 5th December 2016. You've been through so much with me and I'm eternally grateful.
I'll miss not seeing you run up to the cage for vegetables in the morning and evening. I'll miss not seeing you wait patiently for food as you were such a smart little piggy and always knew breakfast and dinner time. I wish I could still wake up in the morning and see you cuddled by Milo, but I know how much pain you were in. I'll miss every little thing about you and it really feels as if it'll never be the same. It feels so empty that you were here last week but not here when I wake up now. But I hope you made it across the Rainbow Bridge and made friends with all the other piggies, to think how many yummy vegetables you must have ate by now! Thank you for being the best and cutest boy to me and I love you so much.

I’m so sorry you had to make that hard decision. It was made with love. Oreo had a wonderful life with you and Milo. Popcorn high at the bridge gorgeous. Take care. ❤️

Thinking of you as you grieve. To have to make that decision is so very hard but its a decision made out of love and he would know throughout his life that you loved him so very much. Your tribute shows that. Take care of yourself in the coming days/weeks, then think of all the thinks he did that made you smile.

Thank you, I have many fond memories of Oreo and sometimes like to think what a happy piggy he is over the Rainbow Bridge. :hug:
