Penny, our spectacular girl, made her way over to Rainbow Bridge just before Christmas. She has the biggest personality of any guinea pig I've ever met, she was so bold, so vocal, so friendly. I saw her on the Blue Cross website and immediately fell in love with her. When Cap met her, he immediately fell in love with her too, and never left her side. They shared many cuddles and kisses in their time together.

We knew she was old, and she slowed down a lot in her last months. Then one day she was very wobbly on feet when she came over to greet us in the morning. She had one last meal with Cap, then simply lay down and went.

Goodnight Penny, we couldn't miss you more xx

I am very sorry for your loss!

What wonderful memories of a great old lady who was able to live her long life until the end the way she wanted!

I’ve also responded to your tribute to Logan.
Your love for your piggies comes through in your lovely tributes.
Penny was so beautiful- it’s no wonder you fell in love with her.
Remember you are grieving twice so be patient and gentle with yourself

I am sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful lady and it sounds like she trotted off to the Bridge surrounded by those she loved. Go gently with yourself as you grieve.
