Our beautiful black beauty Sally was pts this evening. She had a secondary cancerous tumour that had prolapsed which would have resulted in serious consequences of internal infection :( :( I had to make the horrible decision to let her go as the cyst like growth on her ear had possibly become cancerous too.
Sally was one of the Ormskirk rescue girls taken in by Inspectors and was in a dreadful state, I cried when I first saw her and was thrilled to be able to adopt her when she was ready - she had flourished into a beautiful, feisty little girl, friendly and her glossy coat was the envy of all our lady piggies :)
Run free my lovely sassy lady, Lily, Pink and the other girls you shared your home with are waiting to guide you to the gentleness of the Rainbow edge where you'll scamper and play forever.
I'm absolutely heartbroken at losing another treasured fur baby, the pain is too much to bear :(

Oh I am so sorry. I can hear the pain in your words. I am so sorry you lost your beautiful girl. If you need to talk please pm me.

So sorry Trace, Sally will always have a very special place in your heart. She was a piggy I always looked out for, as her and our Megan had been through such a lot before Walsall rescued them.
She was a gorgeous little lady and you did so much for her and gave her the home with you both that she so desperately deserved. She had a wonderful life with you and couldn't have been more loved and cherished.
You made the bravest choice for her and put her first as you always have done, she couldn't have had a better Mum and Dad than you both.
Massive hugs and love to you

Sleep well little girl
RIP Sally

What sad news, but Sally will have all her friends ready to greet her and guide her, sweet dreams Sally,

I am so sorry. She will be popcorning with the other rainbow piggies now. At least you gave her a wonderful life when she was with you. Hope you are coping ok. Sleep well little Sally. Xx

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. It's heart wrenching making the decision about when it's time to have a loved pet PTS - you did the kindest thing.

RIP Sally

So sorry to hear of your loss. These little creatures leave such a big hole behind when they go. Responsible pet ownership brings such joy but such despair at times but it is such a brave decision for you to help Sally on the way to the Rainbow Bridge. Popcorn free little one xx

Thank you Lee and Rachel - Sal was one of my special girls after such a cruel start in life and either her or Megan had to come to us but you beat me to Megan :)
I really wish we had longer with them...it's so sad to hear of so many neglected ones and cherished ones leave too early
Sally was such a friendly, placid girl and have never seen such a close trio as her and her chosen rescue buddies, Winnie and Tilly when we took her dating - they loved each other so much from the moment of introduction :luv:
I'm sure her and Megan are chattering away and nomming on the green grass together, sharing stories and I find comfort in that
She needed her wings far too soon and I couldn't bear the thought of her being in any pain - she was too loved :bye:

I know she's watching over me,
She'll be with me when I cry,
That final cuddle, just one more kiss,
Gave you wings so you could fly...

Play safe forever my lovely girl with your friends x

such lovely words :soz:

So sorry to hear you had to make the decision for Sally to go, I had to do the same for Andy ,we did what was best for our beloved piggies, and although the pain is as you say too much to bare, their pain has gone and they are peaceful they wouldn't want us to be in the pain we are, so for them let's smile and carrying on loving their memory and our other piggies too. Be peaceful Sally x
