Goodnight Six

We went into the front room this morning and found Six had passed away. He would have been 6 next month.

It has come as a bit of a shock, he'd slowed down a bit recently but seemed happy enough and didn't seem to be unwell.

He came to live with me when he was six weeks old with his brother Lune. Lune passed away a couple of years ago and we tried pairing him with another male Cap, but they fell out. Since then he has lived with his wife Athy who is very sad at the moment.

He was the first guinea pig I ever saw popcorn and had so much personality.

It's hard watching them age and slow down, but harder still when they trot off to the Bridge without warning. I'm so sorry that you've had to say goodbye to this little chap. Popcorn free Six. Hugs x
