After battling illness since late November, my baby Toggle finally passed over this morning. She's been so unwell recently, she was down to 490g last time we weighed her, she was tiny, it was awful. I'm glad that she's no longer suffering, but I've been heartbroken all day. I tried so hard to fix her, but unfortunately it wasn't enough.

I just fed the other piggies and there was one less face at the bars begging for greens, which has just had me in bits all over again.

I just wanted to fix her. My poor baby. I love her so much.
 
Oh I’m so sorry to hear that little Toggle has passed. You did everything you could for her and you couldn’t have done any more.

I am very sorry for your loss. Sadly there is only so much we can do for our beloved pets; although veterinary medicine is making huge advances, there is all too often only so much we can do.

You have done your very best for Toggle. Be sad, but don't feel like you have failed her.

If you write down all your memories of her, the little and the large ones, you will find that although you can't see and tough her anymore, there is so much of her still there in your precious memories. By writing them down they cannot be taken away from you.

So sorry for your loss.
It is heartbreaking when we do everything possible but still lose our beloved pets.
You gave Toggle a life filled with love which is a precious gift.
Take time to grieve now and be gentle with yourself
