I'm currently trying out this shampoo for the first time on one of my boys who has lice. This is his thread: http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/...reatment-and-prevention&p=1415261#post1415261

I have only done one application so far, and I am due to repeat the shampoo, as instructed, on the weekend.

There does seem to be a noticeable reduction in the number of visible 'white spots' (Frankie is a black piggy so they can be easily spotted), but I don't think he is 100% clear yet. I'm hoping they'll all be gone after the next shampoo, or I'll be buying some Xeno 450 to use instead.

Has anyone else tried this shampoo? Have you had good results with it?

i used this last year on some pigs i rescued from horrible conditions. it worked brilliantly. i have purchased other items from them since as i find their stuff really good

I've always had success with Gorgeous Guinea products. It can take two or three shampoos to get rid of the lice and the eggs.
If it's not clearing I'd recommend contacting Chrissie at GG, she may well be able to suggest something different.

Thanks, I will do.

I've ordered some more and am waiting for it to arrive so that I can do their second shampoo. Their fur is very shiny and they smell lovely after their first bath! :)
