Trufflefluff

Just been on the Gorgeous Guineas web site (as i'd noticed a few people on here have recommended it) O0 and thought the products looked really good, so I ordered some lavender piggie shampoo and a CocoNeem melt for Pickles' flaky fur :) Has anyone else tried this/these products, and what's your fav? :)

Nicky

I have used the lavendar shampoo (and conditioner) for some time now and it is wonderful - not only do you get fab smelling piggies, but also wonderful lavendar hands! I have just bought some of the CocoNeem melt, but have yet to try it out, can't say I am too keen on the smell though! I have used the soaks in the past and they were great so I'm hoping for good things from the melts too.

I only ever use these products and the lavender smell is so wonderful makes my shed smell fresh for ages and the coats are so soft even my rexs fur looks like its glittering its so shiny, also use the cocoa butter cream and antiseptic cream etc

I have bought some various creams and shampoo too. Yesterday I received the aloe melt which I am to try JoJo with later for his dry skin :)

I am not to keen on strong scented shampoos.

I'm using GG lemon tea tree and lavendar shampoo for my two and I just love the smoothe chilledout smell. I always get a lovely snuggly feeling when I feel my dried off piggies when I use it.. and the white parts of hair on Trek is always gleaming!

Sorry to hi jack on this post but how important is bathing our guineas?

I've read a lot about it but as yet haven't tried it.

I'm no expert and there's a lot of people on here who can probably give you the reasons why in detail but all I know is my boys get very greasy coats so I know they're ready at 4/5 weeks for a bath.

Spike looks like he has a coat similar to your 2 squeakywheeky but I don't think I would dare bath Spike for at least a couple of months yet! Buffy is a rex though and I'm tempted I have to say!

I ordered £70's worth of stuff from there the other wheek,I'm gonna have some nice smelling poncy piggies lol
Springs just had a bath in the russet shampoo and smells and looks gorgeous

Can't wait to try it O0 I've only bathed Pickle twice before and was worried about using normal shampoo, that's why I thought i'd give their products a go :)

I love GG.

I've used the mini pig shampoo, posh n go, lice n easy, and the 4 oil shampoo - which I really love

Also the cocoa butter cream, the soothing cream and the oral gel.

Just got a coconut melt for Riffy - his treat. :smitten:

ive only bathed my piggies once since ive had them (there probably around 2 years old now) and that was because my mainly white pig was getting rather dirty, i wouldnt bath them on a regular basis to be honest just my opinion but i dont think its necessary.
