You could crush some of whatever you feed your other piggies into water to feed him by syringe. Pellets crush okay. If he isn't eating he will die and that's just such a shame if you could just syringe something into him.

OMG, this is just sooo distressing :0 I've had a complete ****e fortnight at work (with no days off zzz) and hoped to come on here for a bit of light relief but am in floods 8...
Pat, you are a total Angel and I pray this little guy pulls through, he's such a sweetie. Give him millions of cuddles and vibes from us all here xx>>>

I hope this little boy pulls through:(

Syringe feeding is vital as if he stops eating then their digestive system will start to shut down and they will die anyway:(

I know sometimes its hard to get them to take any food from a syringe, try baby food as someone said and angle the syringe gently at the side of his mouth and syringing tiny bits at a time, he may take it better that way:) I'm not sure what else to suggest apart from seeing the vet asap

good luck hope he pulls through

Pat

I think it's very important that is little guy gets seen by a vet asap. Even if the vet appointments are all booked you should be able to get him seen as an emergency or out of hours emergency.

It's very likely he will need sub cut fluids, gut stimulant and ivermectin/fungal treament if he is to stand any chance.

All the love in the world won't save him without meds.

Suzy x

I wholeheartedly agree with Suzy. Love can move mountains but it won't save a sick guinea pig. He looks like he's riddled with lice and fungal as well as everything else. Hope he pulls through, poor guy. X

Poor little mite, I completely agree with Suzy and the above poster this little guy needs a vet.
