Got my first piggys today

I have been reading this forum for a few weeks gathing info on what i need ...i am a vet nurse but never owned a guinea pig ....a wide variety of other animals as you can imagine :-)).
2 female 8 week old babies..poor things already on thier second home....:-(

Awwwh that is lovely! Yes, we love pigtures on here, as you can imagine. Awwh their second home, who wouldn't want little gorgeous tiny winy babies! :smitten:

What colour are they both? xx
 
smooth haired tan and white....thet are tiny....but very social..:-))
 
Awwh they sound ADORABLE! My piggies are very socialable too lol ^_^ Specially our boar! lol :p
 
will get some as soon as possible .....i have been reading the forum for weeks and have read a lot of good advise :-))..no doubt i will have a fair few more questions as I'm new to all this..:-)

piper and chloe..they had these names when i had them...:-)..they do kinda suit them though..

yeah.....bless them..lol.....piper has already shown an interest in my daughters toys .......she came straight out the box and into her barbie bus........very outgoing ..chloe in still a bit timid and looks to her sister for comfort ...love her..:-)
 
i have just left them to settle in thier hutch all day and just poped in now and then to check on them....is this best or should i be doing som thing else?

Talk to them, always :) Get them used to your voice.

i am looking for another 2 females ...finding it very hard!!.....there is a piggy rescue near me i have tried ringing and leaving messages for over a week...they have 60 piggys ..i tried going ther today to explain i couldnt get through so i popped round on the off chance....was sent away with a flea in me ear....:-((..i think i caught her on a bad day... am going to try rspca small animal rescue in wedway tomorrow..unless anyone else has any better ideas...i live in Dover .

I agree with the quoted statement from Cavy Crazy, we have two sisters and one is much more bold and the other timid and shy (actually a bit like my kids ;D)
