My C&C cage came today so I spent the afternoon putting it together and setting everything up. I'm picking my 2 boys up tomorrow from the rescue centre, I'm so excited, they are coming home! :D

Note: Water bottles and fresh food will be added tomorrow just before the piggies arrive :)

I'm quite pleased with it, it's my first ever C&C cage, so sorting all the towels and fleeces out has been an experience to say the least, but I think the strawberry beds look cute. The upstairs isn't finished yet, I'm waiting for the fleece to come that I've ordered online, and I'm going to get a much larger, plastic litter tray to create a kitchen area. I've just lined the loft with puppy training pads and an old towel for now as a temporary measure. I'm also still waiting for my lettuce leaf cushion to arrive to finish off the theme. :D

Here's hoping the piggies settle in well :)

Your setup looks great and I love the colour scheme! I would however try and put something like a door mat cut to shape on the ramp or a towel to give the piggies lots of grip. If they feel unsafe on the ramp at all, even just a wobble, they will not want to go up and down it.

It's hard to see but the ramp has corrugated type cardboard on it and is reinforced underneath with wires, so it doesn't move much at all. I thought I'd see how they got on with it as it is, then if it's a no go, I have a strip of carpet ready to put in. :)

That's good to hear. You'll be surprised how much grip they like! Our old hutch has proper grip felt and wooden steps on it and they still slipped. I put a material doormat on it and they loved it.

I found some ready cut 'cat scratching' strips of carpet at Pets at Home for £3 each. So I've bought one of those as it looks about the right size to fit the ramp, which was handy. But I also have an old piece of carpet on standby as well just in case it isn't the right size. :)

Looks awesome! Where do you get those tunnels! The only ones I've been able to find have been made of timothy hay and they're expensive! The pigs just eat them anyhow!

Your cage looks amazing! The piggies will love it.:)

That looks great, they'll love it for sure

I had to put carpet on my ramps as my piggies struggled getting up and down!

Those pigs are going to be so excited! I bet they'll sit there and munch on that stuffed paper roll forever! LOVE your cozies ! That's going to be my next investment!

The cage is really pretty, love love love the theme!
Can't wait to see your piggies in there, I'm sure they will be sooo excited and happy! Brace yourself, popcorning is coming!
