broke down and got 2 guinea dad liners. its been in the cage exactly 2 hours and i already love it. no more paper bedding tracked through the house. the girls are so happy they got the zoomies. Lollie is already napping in the snuggie. I'm so happy worth the investment too me.

i just followed the washing directions they sent. washed on cold and added distilled vinegar (i do this for towels. makes them fluffy) then i just line dried. i have a line on my covered back porch catches heat and wind but no direct sunlight till about 6pm.

That's great! :)
I just put mine in the dryer on low for 55 minutes. Your method sounds amazing! :)

Hi, I love your cage! I am going to pick up my girls at the end of the month and I am also looking to get a fleece liner. Can I please ask, do I have to use bedding hay with the fleece? I know I need to get a hay rack and feeding hay, but I've seen some people use the bedding hay and the fleece in parallel. Also, with the snuggle sacks should I use bedding hay inside? Thank you!

You don’t need to use hay racks, you can just put hay down on the fleece itself and let them burrow into it and eat it and play with it. There is nothing more fun than a huge pile of hay to play in!
There is not a difference between bedding hay and feeding hay as such. All hay is feeding hay to a guinea pig! Mine get a mixture of meadow hay and Timothy hay. They eat both of them equally.
My boys live in my shed. They have a fleece area and a hay area. I don’t use hay racks. The hay is just thrown on the floor in the hay area and they use it for eating, playing and they will often go and snuggle up in the hay area and have a nap.
I wouldn’t put hay inside a snuggle sack.

i dont use any hay for bedding. just the fleece liner. i put their hay in a corner litterpan. thay mostly poop and pee in there plus the water bottle drps in there so it needs cleaned daily, every other day at most.

if you do get premade liners from a like amazon, make sure you get guinea dad. i tried another brand and was horribly disappointed. i dont know what you plan to use for a cage but mine is the midwest cage in case you were wondering.

There are some other premade liners that work well so don’t discount those. I made my own but there are several links in a thread somewhere.

c and e liners in the uk are made with zorb, quick to dry,and absorb moisture very well .its worth a look !

Thank you for your replies. I will probably put some hay in various toys and I am already building a hay rack so that will have to stay. I've got a handmade L-shaped cage so it won't fit a set liner. I did find someone who does fleece items and ordered a couple of them but I wasn't sure on the bedding hay. Thank you very much! I can't wait to pick up my girlies now 😁

You can have hay areas and fleece areas. Piggies love a cardboard box full of hay to burrow in, just put a puppy pad in the bottom of it and cut out a couple of exits with scissors so they can get in and out and no one feels trapped
