My Parent's are planning to re-wire so I would rather rather the pigs moved out due to the noise, dust and just general chaos so I decided it was time to get them some moveable cages. I got them the below cage;

http://m.zooplus.co.uk/shop/small_pets/hutches_cages/rabbit_cage/120_cm_cages/137393

I plan on just using it as 2 cages and ditching the ramp, it has the smallest crack on the corner of the base, never used and no parts missing but because of this I got it off ebay for 63.00. Can't believe it! I was a bit hesitant at first as it was sent back damaged and they had put it on ebay hadn't been checked to see what was in the box so pleasantly surprised to see everything there and such minor damage!

My two used to be in one of these, but a three tier one about a year ago, i really liked the cage, as did the piggies once id put up sides to the ramps, but it was awful hard to clean out!

Oooh! That is a bargain! Well done you!

I bought the three tier version for my piggy room. I also wanted them as separate cages so the holes are covered with correx and duct tape. It fully takes the weight of the pigs and I've had it like it for months and months. The second hand cage i bought had damage in the corner but it was covered with duct tape and thats the corner I put their corner toilet in.

I bought a new one and that also arrived damaged! But I had a small refund :)

Hopefully the two tier isn't as difficult, the piggies still have there and C&C just got this one so if they need to go anywhere, they can take a cage to C&C is so hard to move about.

i think you did well, it is such a bargain, i got mine in the chrimbo sales as a bargain too.

Hiya Jo!
I have this one too - had it for a year - the kids dad got it off ebay brand new for £29 - the seller put the starting bid too low and I was the only bidder - mind you - cost him £30 in petrol to get it to us - I have taken the ramp out in mine to make 2 separate cages,as my lumpy boar is on the top and his ex friend is on the bottom - your c and c grids are in my daughters bedroom with my two old lady pigs - i find it works better as 2 without the ramp - best to put a piece of correx over the wooden shelf section on the bottom one to waterproof it as it will get pee stained and never dry otherwise!

We use these cages for the boarders and we think they're great! Easy to keep clean, and nice and roomy. You got yourself a bargain there!
