hi

We have just arrived home to find our GP run with cover partly off and fluff over garden. One of our GP has fur missing. There is a few feathers outside the run.

Is it possible that a sea gull has flown in the run and attacked? The cover had been clipped on and pegged all round. But the clip was off and cover was partly off.

Thankfully both GP are fine if shaken. Is there anything to put on for the bald part where the fur is missing?

Our only ither thought was that the piggies were fighting which they have never done before?

I guess we'll never know but we are investing in a wooden run!

How scary! given the feather evidence and slight shakiness I'd say it probably was not the piggies just fighting.

So glad that none are missing and for the bald spots as long as there is no broken skin I don't think there is much to be done other than wait for it to regrow.

Thankful everyone turned out ok.

I agree with Squeakz, its more likely a bird, another animal would likely to have got into the run. Keep a close eye on them and watch for signs shock. A secure run is key to garden roaming by the furries.

You were lucky.

if they are shaken its more likely that a bird came because i doubt that they would scare each other but its good there ok and not much you can do fur wise unless you get some sort of guinea pig clothing but i doubt your guinea pig will enjoy it better off to let the fur regrow :bal: hope i was helpful
