Gp changing colour?

Hi everyone,

I hope i have posted this to the right section...

My father in law and his wife got a baby GP in december last year, she is mostly lilac with the odd ginger spots, we saw her for the 1st time in months on saturday and she has grown so much, however her lilac colour has dramattically faded, it is now more of a light grey colour, i couldn't belive how much lighter she is now. Just wondered why her colouring has changed so much? I know colours can change.

Short baby hair is much darker, but the longer it gets, the more the colour will fade.

when i got my baby, he was really orange but now he is bigger he has gone alot more browny greyish
