Little Piglets
Junior Guinea Pig
My boar (think he's 5-6 months old) has one toenail that's turning sideways, but it's doing it at/inside the finger far as I can tell. Thought at first maybe his finger was broken, but it feels firm in the joint and he's not screaming or anything if I touch it or acting any different. Unsure if their toes can swell, but his isn't swollen. His nails are still pointed.
As a kid, I had a female that had toenails that turned different directions, but they where like little branches being extruded out and stopped looking like toenails almost altogether.
Is his toenail turning to the side considered normal? If it was a human hand, it'd be the right-hand middle finger, and the nail would be pointing to the right index finger.
