OK guys - I've been reading your forum for a while and here's my first attempt at an indoor GP abode. The cage is the trixie rabbit 150. A shop bought cage suited the location better than a C&C setup. My OH is making me a table for it to sit on (which is why it's propped up on chairs at the moment).

Honest opinions please - does it look OK - have I missed anything vital? There's a hayrack to go in which the bunnies don't use and I do have another little wooden house but I was a bit worried about taking up too much floor space. I LOVE the little fleece pouch - just big enough for two snuggly pigs to have a nap!

AWWW - they will be very happy in that cage!

No wonder you are excited, I'm currently impatiently awating an extension to the cage stand so I can get it all set up in anticipation, waiting is horrid isn't it?! can't wait to see pics of the wee chap in his palacial domain.:(|)

Wow, it looks fab! I don't go much for the commercial cages but I really do love your setup!

Looks really great! Comfy with nice places to hide and munch hay... looking forward to seeing pigtures of them in there!

I agree - I'd rather have had a C&C setup but I also have dogs who will continue to have access to where the piggie cage is. I didn't feel a C&C cage would withstand anyone cannoning into it by mistake. The shop cage is much more robust.

Just to add that my dogs have been brought up with houserabbits and outdoor rabbits and totally ignore them. I'm not expecting any problems with housepigs!

It looks great! I don't think you need another hidey house, they have plenty of options for hiding as it is. Keep it though to change with. My piggies love "new" (ie stuff they haven't seen for 2 hours...) things!

Looks great - I'm sure they'll enjoy themselves exploring. Love the pawprint fleece :)

that looks great looks really big as well, how did you make your hay loft?i really really want to make one now

Two strips of wood approx half inch deep by 2 inches wide and cut just wider than the cage, attached to a piece of plywood the width of the cage to make the platform. Wood strips 'notched' at each end to sit snuggly on the bars and stop them slipping out of position. Then used correx to make the box section that sits ontop of the plywood platform. Ramp made in the same way. Strip of plywood attached with brackets to the platform. Then stapled correx strips to it to make sides. It was actually really easy. The black correx cost me about £8 for a piece 1.2metres square. I've got one spare piece for any future projects! White correx is cheaper but I thought I'd go with black to match the bars of the cage.

You've done it! Well done it's very cool indeed.

I think it's just perfect! :)

Hi - I got it from Ebay actually - from a seller called 'chucklebunnies'. She makes them all from either offcuts or bits from charity shops etc - here's the link

Sorry - only just seen your post. I got the cage from Jollye's in Milton Keynes and I paid £97 for it. A very nice young man carried it to my car for free :))

That is a good price, I paid £126 for mine from Dabners and another £36 for the stand.

I love your hayloft - can I ask where you got your Correx from?
