I have had all of the back issues of the GPM (issue 21 has been downloaded) and I have been reading them for the last two weeks. I really enjoy reading the magazine, and someone asked me why I have bothered to purchase the back issues when I am on the Guinea pig forum.

It was a good question. The answer is because in case anything happens to my internet connection. I have found that technology can fail when we need it the most. If anything happens to my piggies and I cannot get on line to access the forum, I still have information at my fingertips.

Now I am saving to purchase the binders to keep them in. For the monent they are stored in a box...

For me, there's nothing like a real-life magazine or book, either!

I have a couple of magazine subscriptions that are bundled with an online version as part of the deal - never looked at them!

My kids love GPM and so do I.
We are very fortunate to have a family member send it to us, as postage to Switzerland is pretty steep, otherwise I would subscribe.
The kids are not on the Forum for obvious reasons, but I agree with @Tiny - curling up on the sofa with a good magazine can't be replaced with sitting at the computer.

GPM it's a good mag ! And you get that nice magazine smell as well ! When reading it. Computers don't do that.

I like the feel of books and magazines,e read is not quite the same !the guinea pig magazine has so much information in.but i am not to be disturbed when my GPM arrives.!

There is one complaint I have with the GPM...is that every time I settle down to read it one of two things happens:-

A. I get the urge to buy toys and things for my lot, or

B. I need a cuddle. RIGHT NOW! And have to get them out of their cages. I do return to reading the magazine, but it is an hour or two later...cuddles come first!

I love this magazine. It helps keep my guinea pig cravings at bay (almost).

I also love the GPM! I want to collect some of the back issues too, I prefer a physical copy and for the smell! I might be getting a subscription for Christmas, if not I'll be sure to start one myself

Oh and the GPM has a lot to answer for, spending all my money on new toys that I didn't know about before!

Yes Cavy Kung-Fu, that is also an issue.

My answer to that is to expand the cage, so more room for more toys...and piggies!
