I just got back from Tesco and they have a massive pet event on they are selling these which p@h have

http://www.petsathome.com/find/category-is-6+small+pets/breed-is-guinea_pig/product-is-16292

but for only £3

Which is bargain. They also have the smaller ones for £1 which are nice but too small for my big pigs, nice if you have a hamster!

They have supreme food on offer, 2.5kg for £3

I ended up with a dog bed for them to lounge in and a cat hide out as a play thing all under a £5

Think all the goodies have gone..couldnt find any of the things mentioned - ho hum 8...

It seems fairly new in the one by me (we only have one big one in Blackpool) it was in the non food main aisle towards the electrics. There was nothing in the actual pet aisle it'self

Most of the stuff was for cat's and dogs, suppose it depends on the siz of the tesco.

They had the same fleeces that asda had a few weeks ago

I was in the Tesco near my Mum's house (which is huge) and they had so much stuff reduced for small animals that I went a bit nuts!

Stocked up on toys and fleeces for bedding and tubes and hay and...well, you get my point.

Boyfriend was not thrilled when I asked if he would split the cost with me ")

They are meant to be his guinea pigs after all, I've just sort of, adopted them as my own!

I'm going to kick up a right stink about this! we have a massive tesco here, its a wonder they dont have a car showroom yet, but no pet event here yet! Plenty of creme eggs though... mmmm....

They seem to be really selective about where they run offers like this! My own wee house is near 3 reasonably large Tescos, one of which is roughly the same as the one near Mum, and they have nothing, no food, no hay, no sawdust, let alone anything on offer!

I couldn't believe my luck today. I'm going to Ikea tomorrow to see if I can nab anymore bargins the boys might approve of (they were popcorning like crazy when I put them in their big living room pen with all their new toys, they were little maniacs).

They normally put them on the seasonal isle not the pet food isle. They did it this time last year too.

is it just tesco supermarkets or would they have them in tesco home shops also? i dont have a tesco near me so would have to make a trip but the home shop is one way and the supermarket is the other!
