So Grace's bottom looks like this:

(best picture I could get)
I don't why becuse she's her normal self eating, drinking and running laps around the cage. I was thinking maybe it's just a wee staine. She does sit in her litter tray and eat hay from there. Any one got any ideas why her bottom looks like this? Also should I wash her? and if I did wash her would I need to wash Hope too?

Could it be an over active grease gland? I know I am always washing gunk off my boys' tail ends, and apparently some sows can get it as well.

It looks like a wee stain to me. My snow white peruvian's bottom also always look like this, some piggies are just more messy than others.
I therefore always keep her bum hair trimmed.
Maybe just keep an eye on the rest of the cage for loose stools, just in case.

Looks like a wee stain to me, my Cupcake gets like that all the time. Give her a bum wash and it wouldn't hurt to do her grease gland at the same time. I keep Cupcakes backend trimmed now to try and minimise the staining (and whiffing)

Oh thats great to know that it's just seems to be a wee stain. I got a bit worried there, i'll buy some gp shampoo and wash her bottom. All her stools are normal no loose ones in sight.

going to ask a really weird question - does it smell of wee?

I am known for sniffing things and find this does help determine what issue if at all I am looking at. It does look quite high up on the bum but none of mine have a wee stain nor did any of my old piggles so I cant say its not.

I think it does smell but not sure if it smells of wee.

I looks like she's sat in her own wee. I have one or two longhaired piggies who look like this.

Keep her bum end trimmed as short as possible and if necessary, give her a bum bath. Make sure that she is fully dry again in this weather.

Can you turn her over and take another pic of her girlie bits please. Has she any discharge, a sour smell rather than wee?
