Hello everyone - with the recent sad tales of bloat I just wanted to clarify something ..... is it ok to feed my two boys grass that is ‘picked ‘ as long as they eat it straight away or..... is it best to let them graze it ? I only allow small sessions on the grass in their run ( if it’s safe weather wise etc) as I’m paranoid about bloat. Any advice will be welcome !
Thank you everyone and keep cool 😎

Yes it’s fine to pick it by hand for them or let them graze on it directly from the lawn - either is fine. Mower clippings are unsafe though.

If your piggies are not used to grass, then you need to build it up slowly (and after any long period away from grass, so build up slowly again after every winter).

Grass is good for them though so do let them have it when possible.

Thank you - I limit their time in their run on the grass so they are getting used to it ....just with this hot weather they are staying indoors all day ...like me 😊 But they love grass ....
